John Forsythe

FORSYTHE, John, 7th January, 2026, Templeogue, D. 6W, formerly of Belfast. Peacefully surrounded by his family in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, Harolds Cross.

 

Beloved husband of Mairéad (Lynch), loving and much-loved father of Rory and Laura. John will be forever loved and dearly missed by his wife, son and daughter, daughter-in-law Barbara, his adored grandsons Oliver and Alastair, his sister Diana and niece Fiona, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends especially those in the Mountaineering Community.

 

May he Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at his Residence on Monday evening from 6pm – 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Victorian Chapel, Mt. Jerome, Harold's Cross for service at 10am followed by burial in Mt. Venus Cemetery.
