John Francis Claro

John Francis Claro, 63 years old, passed away on May 26th 2020 in Sheeauns ,Cleggan, County Galway . He worked for case corporation, London before co -owning  Two Dog Café, Clifden.

A loving, kind, intelligent, talented gentleman and a graduate of the London School of Economics and Kensington School, in Barcelona Spain. John grew up in Spain and the United States, lived in England, and was a resident of Cleggan for many years.  Among his array of interests was Astronomy, and he contributed to the Connemara View with a section titled Connemara Stars.  He will be lovingly missed by all who
knew him. John was predeceased by his mother Maria Angeles Jimenez and his father Francisco Javier Claro Jaumot. Survived by His brother Francis, and sister Ana, nieces Elena and Natalia, and his dearest Tracey Raffe, neighbours & Friends kindly request that you have him present in your prayers.

The family welcomes memories of John on the condolence link below. A procession with John's remains will go to Cleggan, via Clifden, for his
neighbours to pay their respects on  Sunday, to be in Clifden at 12 noon on Sunday, May 31st and Cleggan at 12.15pm. Due to government & HSE guidelines, the funeral at all stages will be private. A Mass to celebrate John's remarkable life will be held at a later date. Private Cremation will take place in Shannon Crematorium on Monday June 1st.
