Costello, John Francis (Parkwood, Tallaght and late of the Waterworks, Bohernabreena, Dublin 24), October 12th, 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Michael and brothers Michael, Paddy and Liam. Beloved husband of Marion (Mar) and loving dad to Teresa and Eileen. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers Tom, Seamie, Eddie and Dessie, sisters Vera, Teresa and Elizabeth, sons-in-law Ger and Tom, grandchildren Lauren, Joseph, Judith, Rhys, Liam, Calvin, Stella, Kai, Millie, Georgia, Dylan and Shauna, nephews and nieces especially Stephen Sheila, Lisa, Joe and Karen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends especially Frankie, Donal and his friends at Glenville Pitch and Putt Club.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday (October 16th) from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday (October 17th) to St. Anne’s Church, Bohernabreena arriving for 10am Funeral Mass and afterwards to Bohernabreena Cemetery.

John’s family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Tallaght Hospital especially those on the Burkitt Ward and his consultant Dr. Dan Ryan, his local GP Dr. Andrew Coady, the staff at Rose Cottage and finally his wonderful carers Fernanda, Ashley and Teresa.
