The death has occurred of
John Francis MURPHY
MURPHY John Francis, (Rathmines, Dublin. Retired Consultant Obstetrician, National Maternity Hospital); August 14th, 2025, peacefully; following wonderful care in Sligo University Hospital. Beloved husband of Anne. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Anne and his children Ronan, Fiona, Tom, Edward and Annabel, grandchildren: John, Sean, Cara, Hugh, Ruaidhrí, Francis, George and Pearl, sisters Katherine, Margaret and Carmel, sisters-in-law Ann and Fiona, daughters-in-law Fiona and Joanna, sons-in-law John and Stephen, brothers-in-law Peter, Paul, Declan, Norman and a large circle of friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his loving parents John and Carmel and his sister Germaine.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 54 Aungier St. Dublin 2, on Monday 18th August from 5 to 7 p.m.
Removal on Tuesday morning, (19th August, 2025), to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, arriving for 10 o’c Funeral Mass, (which can be viewed on the following link: https://rathgarparish.ie/webcam/), to the Victorian Chapel, at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
