John G Lynch

John G Lynch, (Firmount House, Donoughmore, Co Cork, formerly of Longford Town, Co Longford). On the 4th of October, 2024, John passed away peacefully, after a short illness bravely borne, at his home in Firmount House and surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Gay (nee Hannon). Loving dad of Mark and Erica (Berry). Adoring grandad of Ollie, William, Grace and Lucas. Cherished brother of Michael, Irene, Tom and Peter. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Irene and his sister Monica. Sadly missed and dearly loved by his wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, brothers, sister, son-in-law David Berry, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at his home in Firmount House, Donoughmore P32 F603 on Sunday (October 6th) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass for John will take place on Monday (October 7th) at 12noon in St Joseph's Church, Fornaught, Donoughmore, followed by burial in the Old Kenmare Cemetery, Kenmare, Co Kerry, at 3.00pm.
