John GAFFNEY

John Gaffney, Mullaun, Keadue, Co. Roscommon, November 8th 2020, peacefully, at his residence, in the tender care of his devoted family. Predeceased by his loving wife Sheila, his grandson, Reuben, brother Fr. Francis P. Gaffney, sister Mary and her infant twin Brigid. He will be sadly missed by his beloved family Marguerite, Martin, Sinéad, Michael, Karl and John, brother Michael, sisters Philomena, Bridie (Sr. Mary Sarto) and Anne, sons-in-law Seamus and Liam, daughter-in-law Vivienne, John’s girlfriend Lisa, Michael’s girlfriend Sarah, grandchildren Ellis, Finn and Avril, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, his many friends and neighbours.

Removal to the Church of the Nativity of the B.V.M.  Keadue, on Tuesday morning for celebration of  Mass of Christian Burial at 11.30 o’clock, interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.

Following government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Funeral Mass and cemetery will be restricted to 25 people only, while also adhering to social distancing and wearing face masks.

Those wishing to attend the funeral, but now due to the current circumstances are unable to do so, may leave a message on condolence book below. The family appreciate your sympathy, respect, support and understanding at this time.
