The death has occurred of
John Galvin
On May 5th 2022, John (ex Garda Síochána) passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family, in the excellent care of the staff and the Palliative Care team, at Bantry General Hospital, beloved son of the late Timothy and Mary Galvin, dear brother of Mary, Helen, Gerard, Ann, Hannah, Breda and the late Jimmy. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, his aunt Helen, cousins and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry, on Friday, May 6th from 6.30pm followed by Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, May 7th, at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, Glengarriff, followed by burial in Glengarriff Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Irish Kidney Association.
