John Gerard CLANCY
CLANCY John Gerard (late of Fern Dean Nursing Home, Blackrock, Ballinteer, Tivoli Close, Dun Laoghaire and St. Mobhi’s Road, Glasnevin) – March 13, 2026, peacefully, in his 96th year, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Team at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin and formerly at Fern Dean. Predeceased by his wife Mary Paul (née Campion), brother Brendan and sister Máire. He will be deeply missed by his children Conor, Sheila, Emer and Eoin together with their spouses Yvonne, Pa, Kim and Nina, grandchildren Sarah-Kate, Jack, Rónan, Fiona, Carina and Daniel and their partners, brothers Fintan and Donal, sisters-in-law Valerie, Breda, Angela and Betty, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends from AIB and Dun Laoghaire Golf Club.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday (March 18) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (March 19) at 10.00am in the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
