John Gillen

Born into Eternal Life, John (Jack) Gillen, late of The Old Schoolhouse, Ballymacarbry, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and New York, USA, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year in the tender care of the staff of St Anthony’s Nursing Home, Clonmel.

Predeceased by his sister Marie, his son, John, and his grandson, Fergus. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Irene, his daughter Eileen (Condon) and his cherished grandchildren Will and Emma, great-grandchildren Robyn, Seán and Aoife, his sisters Dorrie, Kathleen and Frances and brothers-in-law, Marty and Michael, all residing in USA, son-in-law Joe, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour on Thursday evening, 5th December, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal to the St Lawrence Church, Fourmilewater, arriving at 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, 6th December 2024, at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery, Fourmilewater.
