John Gilmartin

Formerly of Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim and

member of An Garda Síochána, Mill Street, Galway.  

John died  peacefully following a recent short illness at University Hospital Galway with his family by his side.  Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Ann and  his  much-loved children  Sharon, Niall, Anne-Marie, Maeve, Brian, David and Blanaid, his sister Annie and brother Jimmy and by his grandchildren.

Predeceased by two infant sons Nigel and Shane,  two grandchildren Annie and Grace, his parents Pat and Mary and siblings Thomas, Michael, Pat and Mary Kate.

Very sadly missed  also  by his sons-in-law Pat, Diarmuid and Conor, daughters-in-law Fiona and Ashling, Justin and the extended  Rehill and Gilmartin family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at home (H91E2FP)  on this  Friday,  December 30  from 3p.m. to 7 p.m. Arriving at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill on Saturday, December, 31  in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 10 a.m.  Following Mass John  will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
