Peacefully at home after a long illness borne with so much bravery and composure.

Very sadly missed and very much loved by his wife Jennifer, daughter Ixchel, sisters Sarah, Jane and Joanne, and all his family and many friends.

John has generously gifted his body to the University of Galway Donor Programme to aid in the silent teaching of medical students.

Donations, if wished, to Mayo & Roscommon Hospice.

There will be a memorial gathering for John, organized for a date later in the summer.
