John Gilroy, Assumpta Villas, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare. Peacefully, 28th August 2025, at St. Vincent's Hospital, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Pre deceased by his parents Jimmy and Molly, brother Seamie and grandson James. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Maureen, children John, Alan, Karen, Elaine and Ciaran, sons and daughters in law Karyn, Emilia, Mickey, Shane and Karen, much adored grandchildren, Michael, Harry, Caoimhe, Jack, Aoibhinn, Tomas, Ella, Sean, Killian, Ciaran, Maya, Lucy, Aoibhe, Conor, Holly, Rian, Fiadh, Joe, Mila and Tom, sister in law Kathleen, brothers in law, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and Friends.

Reposing at his family home (Eircode: R51 FD78) on Sunday (31st August) from 2pm with rosary at 6pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Monday to arrive at St. Brigids Parish Church, Kildare Town, for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Conleths Cemetery, Kildare Town. John's Funeral Mass will be live streamed and can be viewed on the webstream link below.
