John (Joseph) GLEESON

It is with great sadness that the Gleeson family announce the death of their Father, John (Joseph) Gleeson, who died peacefully under the exceptional care of Milford Care Centre, on January 7th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife, Margaret.

Much beloved by his daughters, Catriona and Gwen, sons, Tony and Michael, son-in-laws Dan and Liam, daughter-in-law Roos, and grandchildren Isobel, Harry, James, Sadie, Tessa and Isla. He will be missed by his beloved partner Breda, his sister Madge, and many friends and extended family.

May John's gentle soul Rest in Peace.

John will repose in Mc Mahon's Funeral Home, Blackwater on Friday, 9th January from 6pm to 7:30pm followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church, Parteen. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10th January at 11am followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.

Family flowers only.
