John Glynn

Former Group General Manager of Doyles Hotels and Chief Executive Officer of Citywest Hotel.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved husband of Gill and much-loved father of Charlotte, Oliver, Harry and Lucy. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Yas, adored grandchildren John Oliver and Teidí, brothers Tom and Richard, sister Marian, mother-in-law Sheilagh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his many colleagues from his career in the hospitality industry. Predeceased by his parents Maureen and Thomas and sister-in-law Anne (June 2025).

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home on Wednesday evening (10th December) from 5pm to 7pm (D18 F659). Removal on Thursday afternoon (11th December) to the Church of the Sacred Heart Donnybrook arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.
