John Gormley

The death has occurred of John Gormley, Woodlands Park, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Dundalk, Carrickmacross and former member of An Garda Siochana, May 8th, 2020, peacefully, in the care of the staff of Eliza Lodge, Banagher. Predeceased by his beloved wife Connie and daughter Lucy. Also predeceased by his brothers Dan, Br. David, Gerard and sisters Kathleen, Nora and Monica. Deeply regretted by his son John, daughters Anne, Kathleen, Eleanor, Helena, sons in law Geoff and John, daughter in law Edel, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Eileen, (Hanrahan), brothers Liam, Brian, Michael, Leo and Kevin, sisters in law, nephews nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private Funeral will take place. For those who would have liked to attend John’s Funeral but due to current restrictions cannot, you can leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section below.
