Suddenly, yet peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at Curam Care Home, Dundalk. Formerly of An Post, Clanbrassil Street. Predeceased by his parents, John and Ita, and his brothers Arthur, Jim, Owen, Paddy, and sister Maura. John will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his sons Justin and Paul, daughter Anita, grandchildren Aoife, Ciarán, Ian, Rebecca, Sarah, and Seán, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Jo, sisters Agnes, Beatrice, Gertie, Imelda, and Ita, brother Donald, as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends and all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

Reposing in Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 PV07) tomorrow Friday between 5pm and 7pm. Removal will take place on Saturday afternoon 12.30pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only donations if desired to the North Louth Hospice, donation box at funeral home and church.
