Died 13th November 2022. Peacefully after a long illness bravely bourne in the loving care of the staff of Ferbane Care Centre. Pre-deceased by his sons John and Eugene. Sadly missed by his loving wife Maura, son Harry, daughter Assumpta, son-in-law Liam, daughter-in-law Helen, granddaughter Niamh, brothers Harry, Jim and Des, sisters Joan, Angela and Connie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Lawless' Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive in St. Mary's Church, Cloghan for Requiem Mass at 11:00 am. Burial afterwards in Clonmacnoise Cemetery.
