The death has occurred of
JOHN HANCOCK
HANCOCK John (Sandymount, Dublin and late of Donore, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow), 5th August 2025, (peacefully) in the loving care of all the staff at The Marlay Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Anne. Sadly missed by his heartbroken children Breid, Catherine, James and Jennifer, grandchildren Grainne, Ronan and Eibhlin, daughter-in-law Marie, sons-in-law Brendan and Paul, sister Mairéad, brother Tommy, sister-in-law Mavis, extended family and friends.
John will be reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Tuesday (19th August) from 4.00pm to 5.30pm. Removal on Wednesday morning
(20th August) to St Mary’s, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount for Requiem Mass at 10.00 am after which John will be laid to rest in
Drumphea Cemetery, Garryhill, Co Carlow, at 2.00 pm (approximately). Family flowers only please, donations to a Homeless charity of your choice.
