Peacefully in the caring hands of the staff in the Donegal Hospice. Predeceased by his father Sammy and his mother Sarah. Cherished and beloved husband of Maeve. John will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, his children - Melissa (Paul), Letterkenny, Shane (Elaine), Perth, Australia & Pauric (Emma), Letterkenny. John will be deeply missed by his loving grandchildren - Carraig, Iarlaithe, Donnchadh, Erin, Guy and Penelope. Deeply regretted by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Removal from the Eternal Light, Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny (F92 XE35) at 1pm on Tuesday July, 1st going to his family home. John will repose at his home from 5pm on Tuesday, July 1st. Funeral from there for Requiem Mass on Thursday, July 3rd at 11am in St. Columba's Church, Glenswilly with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Family time from 10pm until 11am, and on the morning of the funeral.
