John Hanna

John Hanna (Patrickswell, Co. Limerick formerly Maghery, Co. Armagh. Late Principal St. Augustine’s School).

December 11th 2024 peacefully at home, in the presence of his loving family.

Beloved husband of Geraldine. Dearly loved father of Ronan and Shane. Sadly missed by his loving daughters-in-law Natalie and Julia, his much-loved grandchildren Patrick, Roisin and Emile, sisters Mary, Annie and Josephine, sisters-in-law Pauline Ryan, Anna Bimbot, Pauline Hanna and Kathleen Cormican, brothers-in-law Jimmy, Frank, Frederic, Pauric, Gerry and David and, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his sister Kathleen and his brothers Patrick, Frank and Richard.

 

May he rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Holy Trinity Church, Adare (V94 YV9K) on Friday (13th December) from 3.30pm to 6pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday (14th December) 11am followed by burial in St. Nicholas cemetery, Adare.

John’s family would like to acknowledge Park Lodge Medical Centre Staff, the Community Health nurses, the carers from HSE and Carebright, the Special Palliative Care Community Service at Milford Hospice, the Alzheimer’s Unit Adare, and O’Brien’s Pharmacy staff for supporting and caring for John.
