John Hedigan

HEDIGAN (Ard Dara, COPE Foundation, Montenotte and Carhoo, Clonakilty): on March 24th 2025, peacefully in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and the staff of Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and also his amazing Ard Dara family. JOHN beloved son of the late Jack and Maureen, predeceased by his infant sister Carmel and his brother-in-law Richard, much loved brother of Norma (Booth), Miriam (Mulcahy) and Gerardine (Walsh). Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law Pat and Sean, nephews Shane and John, nieces Ciara, Sheena, Elayne, Fiona and Shauna, grandnephews and grandnieces, Ada, Chloe, J.J. and Jack, his dear friends, cousins and neighbours.

Reposing at Riverview Chapel, COPE Foundation, Montenotte, Cork (T23 PT93) on Wednesday, 26th March 2025 from 11am to 1pm and at his sister Miriam’s residence, “Ballinwillin House”, Mitchelstown, Co Cork (P67 PT10) on Wednesday from 4.30pm to 7pm. Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty, Co Cork on Thursday, March 27th at 1.45pm followed by Requiem Mass at 2pm. This will be livestreamed here. Burial afterwards in Drishane Cemetery, Millstreet, Co. Cork.
