The death has occurred of
John Hegarty
The peaceful death has taken place in his 106th year of John Hegarty, Meenalargan, Glenties and formerly Meenawannia. Predeceased by his wife Bridget. John will be sadly missed by his daughter Eilish, sons John and Christy (Glenties) and Laurence (Ballybofey), son-in-law Thomas, daughters-in-law Paula, Una,and Ann, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Shovlins Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara this evening (Tuesday 1st August) from 7pm with removal at 8pm going to his daughter Eilish Gildea's residence, Stranalough, Glenties F94X406. John's Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning (4th of August) in St Connell's Church, Glenties at 11am, with interment afterwards in the local cemetery.
