JOHN HENNESSY

HENNESSY Ballybutler, Ladysbridge, on April 9th 2020, peacefully, at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork. JOHN beloved husband of Margaret (nee Hegarty) and loving father of Tomas, Eileen (Wiggins) Sean, Frances (Wiggins) Agnes (Dunne) and Gerard , dear brother of Tom and the late Rita and Michael. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons in law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

While we would love to have everyone with us at this very sad time, a private funeral will take place, in line with best practice taken from government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral and John’s home, but due to current restrictions cannot, please use the condolences link on this page. A celebration of John’s life will be held with a Memorial Mass in the future.
