John Hennessy

The death has occurred of John Hennessy, Knockeevan, Clerihan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary, 6th January 2026, peacefully in the presence of his family and surrounded by the caring staff of Melview Nursing Home.

John, much loved husband of Kathleen and father of Michael, Joseph, Caitriona, Claire, Martina and John. Forever missed by his cherished 18 grandchildren and daughters-in-law Irene, Margo and Amelie, sons-in-law Gerry, Tom and Simon, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest In Peace.

Reposing at John O’Donoghue & Sons Funeral Home, Kickham St. Clonmel (E91PK19) on Thursday 8th January from 5pm to 7pm with removal on Friday 9th to St Michael’s Church, Clerihan arriving at 11.50am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
