John Hensey

Hensey, John, Kilmacud, Dublin, and formerly of Ardcroney, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully on the 24th of February 2026 in the excellent care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Anna, sister Moira and brothers Tom and Jim.

Adored father of Carmel, Seán and Thomas. Very sadly missed by his sister Eileen, grandchildren Jack, Deirdre, Anna and Kieran, daughters-in-law Julia and Karen, brothers and sisters-in law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Lower Kilmacud Road, Goatstown, D14 X348 on Friday, 27th of February from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 28th of February at 10am in Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Ave Upper, Ranelagh, D06 Y176 followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.
