John Herward

The death has occurred of John Herward, Balrath South, Southill, Delvin, Co. Westmeath suddenly but peacefully on the 13th July 2024 after a short illness at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Mary, sister Bernie (Clune), brothers in law Michael and Kyran and niece Patricia. Loving brother of Kathleen (Gilroy), Mary B (Smyth), Eileen (McCaffrey), Jimmy and Gerard.
John will be sadly missed by his sisters, brothers, sister in law Marie, brother in law Jack (Clune), Gerard's partner Geraldine, aunts, nephews and nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and his many good friends and work colleagues.

May John's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his home (Eircode N91 C620) this Tuesday afternoon from 4pm followed by the rosary at 8pm.

NOTE: ONE WAY TRAFFIC SYSTEM IN OPERATION. Access to reposing is via Ballyhealy Rd with egress via Southill junction.

John's funeral Mass takes place in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin on Wednesday morning at 11am followed by burial in the local cemetery.
