The death has occurred of
John Hickey
Hickey (Springmount, Carrigrohane and formerly of Aunaskirtane, Rathmore, Co. Kerry) (late staff Our Lady’s Hospital)
On February 17th, 2026, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital, John P. , beloved husband of Margaret (née O’Keeffe) and loving father of Deirdre, John, Mary and Geraldine. Predeceased by his sister Phyllis and brother Timmy.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sons-in-law Kieran and Luke, daughter-in-law Michelle, Mary’s partner Denis, grandchildren David, Erin, Aidan, Conor, Ada-May and Hayley, brother and sisters Margaret, Siobhan, Michael and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in peace.
Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home Ballincollig (P31 W982) Thursday (19th) from 8pm with Prayers at 9.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 12 noon Friday (20th) in St. Senan’s Church, Cloghroe which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stsenans .
Funeral afterwards to St Senan’s Cemetery, Tower.
