The death has occurred of
John Hickson
Hickson (Boherderroge, Fermoy & formerly of Lispole, Co. Kerry) peacefully on March 24th 2023, in his 78th year, surrounded by his loving family, at his daughter's home in Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. Retired principal of St. Colman's College, Fermoy. John beloved husband of the late Mary (née Daffy), father of the late baby Christopher and brother of the late Bobby and Joan.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters Deirdre, Mary, Joan and Katie, sister Rita, sons-in-law Mark, Luke and Peter, grandchildren Samuel, Molly, Bobby, Hannah, MaryKate & Hugo, sister-in-law & brothers-in-law, nieces & nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many close friends.

Reposing at Martin Neligan & Sons Funeral Home, The Old Train Station, Fermoy, P61K682, on Sunday, March 26th 2023, from 6pm to 7.30pm. Reception into St. Patrick’s Church, Fermoy, on Monday, March 27th 2023, at 11.15am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial in Kilcrumper New Cemetery, Fermoy. House Private Please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.
