John HOLLAND

John Holland of “Shanballybaun”, Blackbog Road, Quinagh, Carlow and formerly of Ballyformoyle, Co Roscommon and Arklow, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully after a long illness, on December 21st, 2025 at his home.

Beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Sharon, Suzanne and John Paul, adored grandfather of Ruby, Annabelle, Róisín, George, Seán and Emily, eldest brother of Charlie, Michael, Pat and Mary and treasured son of the late James and Annie.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Phil and Aidan, daughter-in-law Siobhan, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt Bella, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May John’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

John will repose at Carpenters Funeral Home Shamrock Sq., Carlow on Friday, December 26th (St Stephen’s Day) from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm that evening.

Removal from there on Saturday morning at 9.45am, to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
