The death has occurred of
John Holmes
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Holmes, formerly of Gouldshill, Mallow, who passed away suddenly on September 9th 2025 in Prague.
Beloved son of Mary (née Nolan) and the late Liam and brother of Karen, Liam and Collette (O'Callaghan).
Predeceased by his father Liam and sister-in-law Lynda (née Sheehan).
Sadly missed by his loving mother, sisters, brother, brother-in-law Allen, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Reception into the Church of the Resurrection, Mallow on Wednesday (October 1st) for Requiem Mass at 11am.
A Cremation Service will follow at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork at 2pm.
John's family would like to thank most sincerely the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund for the unbelievable help, care, compassion and continued support in bringing John home.
