John Horgan, (Former Sergeant of 4th Motor / Cavalry Squadron). Tuesday 20th of May 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of The Clonmacnoise Ward of The Midland Regional Hospital, Tulllamore.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters.
John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his loving wife Marie, children Michelle, Clodagh, Joey, Sinéad, Roberta, Rose and their mother Rose, step-daughters Sharon and Natasha, cherished grandchildren Niamh, Nathan, Kian, Corey, Callum, Cody, Sean, Katie, Sarah, Paul, Chloe, Kayla, Lily, Rania, Khaled and Gemma. Adored great grandchildren Arlene, Indie and Noah, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, many good friends, comrades and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence 46 Cluain Na Sibhe, Killashee, Co. Longford (N39 KW57)
this Thursday 22nd of May from 4pm concluding with prayers at 9pm.
The family will take a break from 6pm until 6:30pm, Please follow the directions of the stewards, thank you.
Removal from his home on Friday 23rd of May to St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am,
followed by cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (Eircode H12 RF78) arriving at 4:30pm
