John Hughes

Hughes, John (Johnny), (Clontarf) – 5th, May 2020 at the Mater Hospital; adored husband of Mary (née McGrath), much loved brother-in-law of Anne, Margaret and her husband Norbert and the recently deceased Roisin.  Will also be sadly missed by his extended family, his very many good friends including his sporting colleagues in Clontarf Rugby Club, Clontarf Golf Club and Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club.

A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but cannot due to current restrictions, may leave a personal message in the section, “Condolences” below. A Memorial Service for John will be celebrated at a later date.
