Peacefully and unexpectedly at home with his family on Friday 17th February 2023. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (née Crowley), parents Gerry and Josephine, brother Declan and sister Ann. Very sadly missed by his son Gerard, daughter-in-law Anne, his adoring grandchildren Laura and Daniel, his daughter Catherine and her partner Gareth, sister Pauline (Burns) (Nenagh), sisters-in-law Joan (O'Reilly) and Irene (Curry), brothers-in-law Mike Burns, John O'Reilly and John Curry, John's great friend Alan Kennedy for whom we are all grateful for his support, John's wonderful carer's Adeline, Veeru, Mary, Pasi and Jackie, these wonderful people helped in keeping John at his home.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday in Our Lady's Queen of Peace, Coosan Church at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.

House private for family and close friends.
