John (Jack) Gill

Peacefully on Sunday 5th April 2026 at Roscommon University Hospital surrounded his loving family.

Thomastown, Ballydangan, Athlone, Co. Roscommon

and formerly of Arcadia, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and The South Circular Road, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents Harry and Josephine, brothers Gerard and Harry, sister Anita and Marie. Sadly missed by his loving wife Fidelma, sons Jason, Henry, John, Saul and Joe, daughters Ruth and Mary Kate, sisters Olive and Dee, brother Liam, cherished daughters-in-law Sunny and Laura, son-in-law John, grandchildren Maggie (Roddy), Ellen-Rose (James), Paddy, Róisín, LilyAnna, Maeve, Isobel, Liam, Emily, Adam and Anna, sisters-in-law Nora, Biddy, Ann, Claire and Catherine, brother-in-law Terry, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand (N37 WY17) on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church, Moore (N37 XH52) on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Moore New Cemetery.
