John (Jack) Gooney

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles. Predeceased by his parents Norah and Tommy, brothers Paddy, Mick, Frank, Joe and Bill, sisters Josie (Molumby), Nell (Hayes), Kath (Grehan), Mary (Callahan) and Bríd (Gooney). Deeply regretted by his loving wife Irene (Cooke), son Paul, daughter Elizabeth (Ryan), grandchildren Heather, Kristian, Abby and Anna, daughter-in-law Letitia, son-in-law Sean, brother Ollie, sister Betty (Fogarty), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday 16th November from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of St. Joseph & Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles on Monday 17th November at 12.30am for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.
