John (Jack) Harty

John Harty (Jack) of Árd na Lí, Oakpark, Tralee and formerly Dungegan, Ballinskelligs Co. Kerry, died peacefully at his home on December 8th 2025 surrounded by his family.

Jack was predecased by his loving wife Mary and brother Vincent.

He will be sadly missed by his sons John, David & Paul, his daughter Kelly, his grandchildren Aaron, Etain, Daniel and Liam, his in-laws Tim, Natasha and Breda, his sister Helen and brother Anthony, his sisters-in-law Breda, Sarah, Sheila and Pauline and brothers-in-law Joe & Bill, nieces, nephews, former colleagues of Listowel Urban District Council, members of the Kingdom Veteran Vintage & Classic Car Club, kind neighbours, and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Jack will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Friday (12th December) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Saturday morning at 9.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Jack will be celebrated at 10 a.m. (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery, Tralee.
