John (Jack) Lynch

John (Jack) Lynch of Ballyseedy Cottages, Tralee, and formerly Clahane, Ballyard, Tralee and Knockanure, Co. Kerry, died peacefully on 3rd March 2026, beloved husband of the late Nellie and dear father of James - Quaybawn, Eileen Peevers - Poulawaddra, Margaret O'Reilly - Castlemaine, Sean - Washington D.C., Gerard - Gortatlea, Patrick - Tonavane, David - Quaybawn, Trisha Flynn – Balloonagh, & Leo - Scotland.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his 26 grandchildren Peter, Jamie, John-David, Heather, Aileen, Zara, Jake, Jesse, Claire, Coco, Caragh, Alanna, Ruby, Oscar, Iasac, Lisa, Eleanor, Grace, Kerry, Jack, Michael, Elle, Rebecca, Simone, Leo & Conor and 11 great-grandchildren Érin, Fía, Eoghan, Eibhlín, Leah, Jack, Glen, Molly, Martha, Marceau and Camille, all the grand children's spouses and partners, brothers Edward & Jim, sister Eileen (Corcoran), nephews, nieces, daughters-in-law, Amanda, Leona, Kate, Mary & Mary Ellen, sons-in-law Milton and Ned, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret (nee Murnane) and Jimmy, his sisters Annie Lyons, Pat Reidy, Gretta Kerins, Molly O’Carroll, Mary O’Brien and his brothers Mike & Paddy.

John will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home on Sunday, March 8 from 4.30 to 8.30 pm. Funeral arriving at St. John’s Church on Monday with the Requiem Mass being celebrated at 10 a.m. (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery.
