The death has occurred of
John (Jack) Mains DOODY
Formerly of the LDF and founding member of the Pearse Battallion FCA. Peacefully, at St. Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. John (Jack) Mains, beloved husband of the late Nora, loving father of David, Ann, Olwen, Marie and John; Very sadly missed by his children, grandchildren Eoin, Deirdre, Georgia, Paul, Emmajane, Jack, Holly, Rebecca, Mark, Adam, David and Peter, sons-in-law John Higgins, John Bissett and Paddy Butler, daughters-in-law Christina and Ann, brother-in-law Georges, sister-in-law Marie, all the staff in Aclare House, his relatives and many friends. Also remembering his late grandson Colm.
Reposing at his home on Sunday between 4pm and 7pm. Removal on Monday to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, arriving at 9.50am for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Enquiries to Quinn’s of Glasthule, Tel 01 2806756.
