The death has occurred of
John (Jackie) Carr
John (Jackie) Carr, Drishaghaun, Cloughbrack, Co. Galway, March 4th, 2024. He passed away peacefully in the Loving care of the wonderful staff of Friars Lodge Home, Ballinrobe. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Carr, brothers Denis and Frankie. John will be sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary, Eileen (England), Kathleen (N.Z), brother Pat (Chicago) brother in law Harry, sisters in law Maeme, Maureen and Nancy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours, friends, residents and staff in Friars Lodge.
May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing in Burke’s Funeral Home, Clonbur, on Thursday from 6pm with removal at 7.30pm to Saint Patrick’s Church, Clonbur. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Rosshill Cemetery, Clonbur. For those unable to attend, the Funeral Mass can be viewed live on
