John (Jackie) Chisholm

CHISHOLM (Cork) On 23rd December 2021, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Cork University Hospital, JOHN (JACKIE), Gleann na Rí, Tower and late of Ascension Heights, Gurranabraher and ex Docker. Dearly beloved husband of Anne (nee Holloway) and much loved father of John, Raymond, Susan, Lisa and Mandy, devoted granda to his 12 grandchildren, dearest brother of Tony, Christy and Claire and the late Terry, Helen and Kitty.  Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The family would like to acknowledge the care given to John from the Staff of Farranlea Road Community Nursing Unit.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street, on Monday (27th December) at 2.00pm, family in attendance from 3.00pm with Rosary at 4.00pm.  Reception into the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher at 1.45pm on Tuesday (28th December) for 2.00pm Requiem Mass.  Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy.
