The death has occurred of
John (Jackie) Daly
On September 30th, 2025, peacefully in his 93rd year at his daughter Margaret and Patsy’s home. JACKIE, beloved husband of the late Kathleen (née Harrington), dear father of Margaret (O’Sullivan), Eileen (Meaney), Jerry, and John, father-in-law of Patsy, Jackie, Carol, Dave and the late Fintan, loving grandfather of Sarah (Assi), Declan, Louise, Claire, Graham (O’Sullivan family), Jeremiah, Katie (Reilly), Fintan, Christina, Michael and the late John Fintan (Meaney family), Chloe, Sophie (Daly family), Kelly and Ben (Daly family), great great-grandchildren Ella, Julia, Nora, Jayden and Jordan, brother-in-law of Mary, Den-Joe, Jackie and Jerry and the late Bernie Sadly missed by his loving family, relatives, home helps, kind neighbours, and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Thursday Oct 2nd from 6.30pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday Oct. 3rd at 12noon at St Joseph’s Church, Coomhola (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
