John (Jackie) Fennell

Jackie passed away peacefully after a long illness while in the wonderful care of the staff at Larchfield Nursing Home. Predeceased by his cherished, devoted, and loving wife Breda (née Butterly) and his devoted and loving parents Jack and Ann, brother Pearse, sister May, and his son-in-law Francis. Devoted, kind and loving father to Brenda, Avril, and Garrett. Adored dear grandad to Jonathan, Cormac, Éimhín, Evie, Sadhbh, and Bronagh, and great-grandad to little Hugo.

Jackie will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving daughters, son, grandchildren, great-grandson, brothers Micheal, Bryan, and Brendan, sisters Sheila, Ann, Margaret, son-in-law Kenny, daughter-in-law Emma, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grand-daughter-in-law Agnes, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends, and lovely kind neighbours at St Brendan’s Crescent.

Jackie will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 on Friday (29th Sept) from 3 pm to 5 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (30th Sept) at 11:00 am in The Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor, which can be viewed on the following link https://mcnmedia.tv/camera/holy-spirit-parish-church-kimmage followed by cremation at The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross.

We will still hear your laughter after you have gone, carrying you with us until we see you again. Cheerio Dad!
