It is with deep sadness we announce the death of our dear husband and father, John (Jackie) Goodwin.

On the 24th of September 2025, peacefully, at St. Paul’s Nursing Home, Dooradoyle, Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.

Jackie will be deeply missed by his wife, Rita, children, Maria, Veronica, John and Frank, sons-in-law Tom and Peter, daughter-in-law Claire, his beloved grandchildren Aoife, Eoin, Aengus, Ronan, Fionn, Colm, Aimee, Sláine and Chloe, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Sunday, 28th of September, from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, Limerick.

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, 29th of September, at 11:00am. Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (old) Cemetery.
