John (Jackie) Hickey

Hickey (Moskeigh, Templemartin) on April 21st 2021 peacefully in the loving care of the Staff at The Mercy Hospital, Cork and surrounded by his loving family. John (Jackie), beloved husband of Nora (nee Foley) and dear father of Padraig, Michael and John.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Julie, John's Partner Natalie, his grandchildren Sinead, Tadgh, Sean, Kieran, Lilli-Mai and Amelia, loving sister Peggy (O'Neill), Tim Joe Coughlan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephew, niece, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, wonderful neighbours, relatives and his large circle of friends.

In accordance with Government and H.S.E. guidelines, Jackie's Funeral will take place privately.

Jackie's Funeral Cortege will leave his home on Friday at 11.20am approx. and will travel via Templemartin Cross, Quarries Cross and Mossgrove en route to St. John the Baptist Church, Newcestown for a Private Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be livestreamed on the Murragh and Templemartin Parish Facebook page.
