John (Jippo), Freaney, 337 Mill Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully, in the loving care of management and staff at Castlecomer District Hospital, Kilkenny on Thursday, 30th November 2023.

Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, his brothers Gar and Paddy and his sister Patricia.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his sisters Mary and Margaret, his brother Noelie, brother-in-law Ralph, sisters-in-law Eileen and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many special friends.

Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Saturday, 2nd December from 6pm, concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7.45pm.

Funeral Prayers on Sunday morning at 9.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
