The death has occurred of
JOHN (J.J.) WALSH
Walsh (Connolly Road, Ballyphehane) On October 3rd 2016, peacefully in the presence of his family at the Bon Secours Hospital, John (J.J.) late of Coláiste Stiofáin Naoifa, 1st Fld. S&TC, 3rd Garr. S&TC, Collins Barrack’s Cork, late President, Chairman and Founder Member of the Irish Legion, ex. National Chairman and Cork City Branch Chairman O.N.E., beloved husband of Christina (Kitty, nee O’Donovan) and loving father of Joe, Siobhán, Catherine, John and Marcella. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother, sister, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross. Removal on Tuesday (4th) at 8.00pm to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (5th) at 10.00am funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery.
