John Jo Murphy

Murphy (Kilcawha, Kinsale) on May 12th 2022 peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender and exceptional care of all of the Staff at Glyntown Care Centre, Glanmire and supported at the end by Marymount Hospice. John Jo, beloved husband of the late Mary (nee McCarthy) and dear father of Ger, Rita (O'Shea), Marie (Barry) and Kieran, and grandfather of Lisa, Ciara, Aoibheann and Ronan and great-grandfather of Hannah.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Michael, Noel, Barry, Derry and Dan, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Lying in repose at his daughter Rita's house in Nohoval (eircode P17N471) on Friday from 6pm to 8pm. 

John Joe's Funeral Cortege will leave his daughter's house on Saturday at 3.30pm approx. en route to St. Patrick's Church, Nohoval for Requiem Mass at 4pm, funeral afterwards to St. Patrick's Cemetery, Nohoval.
