John Joe Conneely, Rusheeney Oughterard, Co. Galway on the 14th of May 2021, peacefully in Rusheeney. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Maggie (Gorham, Boston), his brother Tim (Moycullen Nursing Home), and his many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

John Joe's funeral cortege will arrive at the church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard on Sunday the 16th of May for requiem Mass at 1 o'clock with burial immediately afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard. 

Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, the funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing, as recommended by government guidelines. If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honour, please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
