John Joe DOWNEY

John Joe Downey, Upper Main Street, Brosna, Co. Kerry, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at The Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry on Monday, 12th May 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Bernie & Nell and brother Willie.

John Joe is very sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, son John, daughter Linda, daughter-in-law Joanne, son-in-law Damien Hendy, grandchildren Nicole, Kian, Lauren and Amelia, sisters Marie, Eileen, Sheila and Josephine, brothers P.J., Donie, Bernie and Jimmy, aunt Margaret Doyle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all his other relatives and a large circle of friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at his home, Upper Main Street, Brosna (V92 A0V5) on Tuesday, 13th May from 5.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m.

Removal on Wednesday, 14th May to St. Carthage’s Church, Brosna to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 p.m.

Interment afterwards in The New Cemetery, Brosna.
