John Joe Egan

The death has occurred of John Joe Egan, Rockyview, Ballybrit, Galway on September 10th 2023. Peacefully, after a short illness surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of the palliative care unit at U.H.G.

 

Predeceased by his father David, mother Kathleen, sister Maureen, brothers Paddy, Gabriel and Louie.

 

Sadly missed by his wife Eileen, son Billy (Lucan, Dublin), daughters Bernie Lyons (Ballinderreen), and Fionnuala Courtney (Killorglin, Kerry), Daughter in Law Miriam, sons in law Ollie and John. Adored grandchildren Roisin, Rory, Tara, Emily, Cathal and Niamh. His brothers Tom and Dave and his extended family, neighbours and many friends.

 

May he rest in peace.

 

Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family Funeral Parlour, Mervue H91 FH52 on Tuesday September the 12th 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Requiem Mass on Wednesday September 13th in the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue at 11 a.m. Followed by interment in Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.
